Scope

This standard specifies the fatigue test method for mucosal type single-implant dental implants and their prefabricated restoration components. This method is particularly useful when comparing dental implants of different designs and sizes. Although this standard simulates the functional loads of the main body of dental implants and prefabricated restoration components under "worst-case" conditions, it is not suitable for predicting the in vivo performance of dental implants or restorations, especially in the case of multi-implant restorations.
