Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the sulfate content in industrial circulating cooling water and boiler water.
This standard is applicable to the determination of sulfate content in industrial circulating cooling water and boiler water with a concentration of not less than 10 mg/L (calculated as SO).
This standard is not applicable to the determination of sulfate content in industrial circulating cooling water that uses barium salts as scale inhibitors and dispersants.
