Scope
This standard applies to copper gluconate products, which are obtained by reacting gluconic acid with copper oxide or gluconate salts with copper salts and then crystallizing them; the product can also be made by electrolyzing glucose into gluconic acid and then neutralizing it with copper carbonate.
