Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of outdoor gas heaters (hereinafter referred to as "heaters"). This standard applies to convection or radiation heaters that use urban gas, including: a) heaters with a heat load of no more than 20 kW; b) heaters powered by liquefied petroleum gas cylinders with a gas charge of no more than 15 kg. Heaters that use gas types other than those specified in GB/T 13611 "Classification of Urban Gas" can refer to this standard for use. This standard does not apply to heaters for indoor use or vehicle use.
