Scope

This standard is one of a series of standards for the sampling and testing of paints, varnishes, and related products. This standard specifies a method for determining the volume fraction of non-volatile components in paints, varnishes, and related products by measuring the density of the dry coating obtained within any specified temperature range and drying or curing time.
