GB/T 19292.2-2018 Corrosion of metals and alloys—Corrosivity of atmospheres—Part 2:Guiding values for the corrosivity categories
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 19292 specifies the corrosion guidance values for metals and alloys exposed to outdoor natural atmospheric environments for more than one year. This part is used in conjunction with GB/T 19292.1.
The guidance values provide the corrosion rates of standard structural materials, which can be used for engineering calculations. The guidance values specify the technical content of each corrosion grade of standard metals.
Appendix A provides calculation examples of the maximum corrosion loss for six standard corrosion grades exposed to outdoor environments for up to 20 years.
Appendix B provides the average corrosion rates and steady-state corrosion rates of standard metals in the early stages of exposure to outdoor environments for six standard corrosion grades.
Appendix C provides a method for calculating corrosion losses based on the composition of steel.
