GB/T 19355.1-2016 Zinc coatings—Guidelines and recommendations for the protection against corrosion of iron and steel in structures—Part 1:General principles of design and corrosion resistance
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 19355 provides design guidelines and recommendations for the corrosion-resistant zinc coatings and corrosion resistance grades used on structural components exposed to different usage environments. The initial protection involves: -- feasible standard processes; -- design requirements; -- usage environments. This part is applicable to zinc coatings obtained using the following processes: a) hot-dip galvanized layers (hot-dip galvanized parts); b) hot-dip galvanized layers (continuous hot-dip galvanized steel plates); c) powder zinc infiltration layers; d) thermal spray coatings; e) mechanical plating layers; f) electrogalvanized layers. These guidelines and recommendations do not address corrosion-resistant maintenance during the service life of galvanized steel. For guidelines on this issue, please refer to ISO 129445 and ISO 129448.
