Scope

This standard is formulated to ensure that glass curtain wall projects are safe, practical, technologically advanced, and economically reasonable. This standard applies to the design, fabrication, installation, and construction of glass curtain wall projects in civil buildings that are not subject to earthquake resistance design or those subject to earthquake resistance design with seismic fortification intensities of 6, 7, and 8 degrees, as well as to their engineering verification, maintenance, and repair.
