CJJ 152-2010 Specification for design of intersections on urban roads

Scope

1.0.1 In order to implement the national policies on technical economy and social development, and to design urban road intersections scientifically and reasonably, so as to achieve the goals of people-oriented, advanced technology, economic rationality, safety and reliability, land conservation, and aesthetic and environmental protection, these regulations are formulated. 1.0.2 These regulations apply to the design of new and renovated urban road intersections. Newly built intersections must be designed in accordance with the requirements of these regulations. When renovating intersections due to limited conditions, the technical indicators of the short-term design can be reasonably adjusted, but the long-term renovation design should meet the requirements of these regulations. 1.0.3 The design of urban road intersections shall comply with the requirements of the urban master plan and urban traffic plan regarding the categories and grades of intersecting roads, the width of the red line, the cross-sectional combination, the control elevation, and the position of the intersection in the urban road network, its traffic function, and the planned land use scope, and shall also comply with the following provisions.
