This document specifies the general safety requirements for equipment in educational institutions intended for use by children aged 3 to 16 under the supervision of responsible persons.
Children refer to individuals between the ages of 3 and 16.
Students who require additional educational or physical support may have needs exceeding the limits set forth in this document (see Chapter 17 Risk Assessment).
