Scope: This document specifies the quality grading, procedures, and evaluation methods for pulleys used in cranes. This document applies to the quality grading and evaluation of common pulleys (hereinafter referred to as "pulley") matched with steel wire ropes on cranes, including metal and non-metal pulleys. Main technical content: The quality grading of pulleys is evaluated based on five aspects: the performance of the pulley's base material, appearance quality, surface hardness, surface roughness, and geometric tolerances. The pulleys are divided into three grades: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. The comprehensive quality score of the pulleys is calculated based on the test items and comprehensive judgment methods to determine the grade.
