本标准规定了以符合GB/T 13611的城镇燃气为燃料的常压固定式燃气沸水器的分类和型号，结构和材料，性能要求，试验方法，检验规则，标志、警示和使用说明书，以及包装、运输和贮存。本标准适用于制备饮用水的，额定热负荷不大于100 kW的室内常压固定式非冷凝式燃气沸水器（以下简称“沸水器”)。
