Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and contract (or order form) contents for high-purity cadmium.
This standard applies to high-purity cadmium with a purity of 99.999%~99.9999%, which is produced by purification processes such as vacuum distillation using 99.99% cadmium as the raw material. The product is mainly used in the manufacture of high-purity alloys, compound semiconductors, and optoelectronic materials and devices such as infrared detection and photovoltaic cells.
