Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of industrial sodium nitrite.
This standard applies to industrial sodium nitrite. This product is mainly used as a raw material for the manufacture of nitro compounds and azo dyes, as a mordant and bleaching agent for fabric dyeing, a metal heat treatment agent, a cement early-strength agent, and an antifreeze agent, etc.
