Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage for industrial sodium nitrite. This standard applies to industrial sodium nitrite. This product is mainly used as a raw material for the manufacture of nitro compounds and azo dyes, as well as a mordant for fabric dyeing, a bleaching agent, a metal heat treatment agent, a cement early-strength agent, and an antifreeze agent.
