Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection methods, marking and packaging of electronic digital internal diameter micrometers. This standard applies to electronic digital internal diameter micrometers with a resolution higher than or equal to 0.001 mm, a measuring range less than or equal to 100 mm, and a maximum measuring range of 500 mm. For electronic digital internal diameter micrometers with a measuring range of 500 mm to 6,000 mm, please refer to Appendix B.
