Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, inspection methods, test methods, marking and packaging of electronic digital internal diameter micrometers. This standard applies to electronic digital internal diameter micrometers with a resolution of 0.001 mm, a measuring range of less than or equal to 100 mm, and an upper limit of the measuring range of 1,000 mm. For Type A electronic digital internal diameter micrometers with a measuring range of 1,000 mm to 6,000 mm, please refer to Appendix A.
