GB/T 8411.2-2008 Ceramic and glass insulating materials—Part 2:Methods of test

Scope

This part of GB/T 8411 is applicable to ceramics, glass ceramics, glass-mica composites, and glass materials used for electrical insulation. This part specifies the test methods, with the aim of measuring the typical performance parameters of the materials used in the samples. In most cases, the size and shape of electrical insulation ceramic components differ greatly from those of the samples, so the results obtained from these tests are only indicative of the actual characteristics of the components. The requirements for sample molding and sample processing methods are discussed where relevant.
