Scope

This part of GB/T 8411 specifies the characteristics and minimum performance parameters of various ceramic and glass insulating materials.
This part of GB/T 8411 applies to ceramics, glass ceramics, glass combined with mica, and glass materials used for electrical insulation. As a guide, this part lists the classification of general electrical insulation materials, and also lists the typical values of the relevant performance of each subgroup or type of material measured by the test methods specified in GB/T 8411.2. These values are only applicable to specific samples and test methods, and cannot be automatically applied to samples and products prepared by other shapes, sizes, or production methods.
