Scope

This standard specifies the testing method for the energy consumption of rubber and plastic injection molding machines.
This standard is applicable to the energy consumption testing of rubber injection molding machines with single screws, single workstations, and hot plate electric heating, as well as thermoplastic injection molding machines with single screws, single workstations, and single electric heating cylinders (hereinafter referred to as injection molding machines).
Note: The electrical energy measured by this standard does not include the electrical energy consumed by the cooling water and compressed air of the machine and mold.
