Scope

This part of GB/T 17178 specifies the requirements for generating the profile test specifications (PTS) in the consistency test of OSI protocol profiles and provides guidance. It also stipulates the requirements for expressing the consistency requirements in the protocol profile specifications.
This part is applicable to the consistency test of each protocol's dynamic and static consistency requirements in the profile, as well as to any information object included in the profile, which is achieved by controlling and observing the exchange of protocol data units (PDUs).
Test requirements beyond consistency are beyond the scope of this part.
