Scope

This part of GB/T 23319 specifies the method of measuring the twist of woven and knitted garments after washing.
The test results obtained by different methods may not be comparable.
This part is applicable to measuring the twist of garments after washing, rather than the twist formed during the manufacture of garments.
Note: Some fabric structures, such as twill, are intentionally made to have a twist during the production process. Garments made from fabrics produced by circular knitting machines may form inherently non-vertical stripe arrangements.
