Scope

This part of GB/T 24242 specifies the dimensions, shape, weight, and allowable deviations of boiling steel and low-carbon steel coils used in silk production, as well as the order content, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This part is applicable to high-ductility low-carbon, low-silicon boiling steel non-alloy steel coils used in drawing or cold rolling steel wire, as well as boiling steel substitute non-alloy steel coils (hereinafter referred to as coils).
