Scope

This part of GB/T 24242 specifies the dimensions, shape, weight, and allowable deviations of special-purpose wire rods used in silk production, as well as the order content, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This part applies to high-quality wire rods (hereinafter referred to as wire rods) used for drawing and/or cold rolling of steel wire with higher performance requirements.
