Scope

This part of GB/T 26831 specifies the communication protocol requirements for implementing relays in wireless meter reading networks. This part is an extension of GB/T 26831.4. It supports routing in R2 mode, but does not support routing in S mode and T mode.
This part is applicable to meter reading devices that support wireless routing networks.
Note: This part does not cover the remote reading of electricity meters. For the remote reading of electricity meters, please refer to GB/T 19882.
