GB/T 17215.421-2008 Electricity metering equipment (a.c.)—Tariff and load control—Part 21:Particular requirements for time switches
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 17215 specifies the special requirements for type testing of the latest manufactured indoor use and working reserve time switches. Time switches are commonly used in power load control, multi-rate metering devices, and maximum demand devices of energy metering equipment. The time switch maintains real-time, can save the date, and handle leap years. It also supports daylight saving time, that is, according to relevant rules, it can modify the deviation between local time and GMT. The time switch also has a synchronization function, and it saves a switch action program table, which can stipulate the time period, weekdays, or dates of the year or month. The time switch controls the output unit according to the time and the stored program table. This part does not set requirements for the internal structure of the time switch.
