Scope
This document provides a test procedure for the flow capacity of industrial process control valves, used to determine the following variables in the equation given in IEC 60534-2-1:
a) Flow coefficient C;
b) Liquid pressure recovery coefficient FL of control valves without attached pipe fittings;
c) Composite coefficient FLP of liquid pressure recovery coefficient and pipe geometry coefficient for control valves with attached pipe fittings;
d) Pipe geometry coefficient FP;
e) Pressure difference ratio coefficients xT and xTP;
f) Control valve type correction coefficient Fd;
g) Reynolds number coefficient FR.
