Scope
This part of GB/T 17213 provides calculation formulas for predicting the flow of compressible and incompressible fluids through control valves.
The formula for incompressible fluids is derived from the standard hydrodynamic equations of Newtonian incompressible fluids, and it cannot be extended to non-Newtonian fluids, mixed fluids, suspensions, or two-phase fluids. When using this formula for non-evaporable multi-component mixed liquids, special attention should be paid. For more information, see Chapter 6.
