Scope

This document specifies the operating conditions, switching characteristics, structural and performance requirements, information and markings, and inspection rules for indoor DC disconnect switches, load switches, and grounding switches in traction power supply systems, and describes the relevant test methods.
This document is applicable to the selection and inspection of indoor DC disconnect switches, load switches, and grounding switches in traction power supply systems.
This document is not applicable to complete switch equipment, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements, and reliability requirements, which are specified in other parts of GB/T 25890.
Note 1: In this document, "switches" refer to the "DC disconnect switches and/or load switches and/or grounding switches" defined in GB/T 25890.1—2026, Sections 3.1.5, 3.1.6, and 3.1.7.
