Scope

This standard specifies the scope, terminology, technical requirements, test methods, and test reports for bulk milk cooling tanks (hereinafter referred to as milk tanks). This standard applies to fixed or mobile bulk milk cooling tanks with automatic control of the second milking volume (24 hours) and fourth milking volume (48 hours) in farms and milk collection points. Note: This standard does not address electrical safety requirements.
