Scope

This standard specifies the categories, general requirements, quality assessment rules, test methods, and required documents for Class 1E cables used in nuclear power stations. This standard applies to Class 1E cables and wires used in nuclear power stations, as well as cables and wires within Class 1E equipment in nuclear power stations.
