GB/T 9937 specifies dental terminology.
This part is about the terminology of dental instruments. The basic and clinical terms of dentistry, dental materials, dental equipment, and the terms related to these products are included in the other four parts of GB/T 9937.
The purpose of this part is to provide definitions of some commonly accepted dental terms for the formulation and implementation of standards, so as to facilitate the understanding of documents, and at the same time, to promote mutual communication through close cooperation with the International Dental Federation, the World Health Organization, and relevant national or international organizations.
