Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for liquid crystal quartz watches (hereinafter referred to as liquid crystal watches).
This standard applies to liquid crystal display watches with a nominal operating voltage of DC 1.50 V or DC 3.0 V, which have additional functions such as time, minute, second, and date display. It also includes liquid crystal display watches that are not worn on the wrist. The liquid crystal quartz watch movements can also be used as a reference for this standard.
