Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of polyethylene blown film for packaging (hereinafter referred to as "film").
This standard applies to low-density polyethylene (PE-LD), linear low-density polyethylene (PE-LLD), medium-density polyethylene (PE-MD), high-density polyethylene (PE-HD), and other resins, as well as blends of these resins, which are the main raw materials for producing blown film for direct packaging and composite film substrates by blow molding.
