Scope

This document describes the experimental method for determining the content of antifungal agents in leather and fur using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
This document is applicable to the determination of the content of three antifungal agents, 4-chloro-3-methylphenol (PCMC), o-phenylphenol (OPP), and N-octyl-isothiazolinone (OIT), in various types of leather, fur, and their products. It is also applicable to semi-finished leather such as blue wet leather and white wet leather.
