GB/T 34987-2017 Weibull analysis
Basic Information
Scope
This standard provides a method for analyzing Weibull data using continuous variables (failure time, failure mileage, or mechanical stress, etc.). This standard is applicable to valid failure data (such as failure time, failure mileage, or mechanical stress) obtained from random samples under test conditions or operating conditions, with the aim of estimating the reliability level of the population. This standard is applicable to independently and identically distributed data. The independence and identical distribution need to be verified or assumed to hold (see GB/T 5080.1). This standard uses numerical methods and graphical estimation methods to plot data points, conduct goodness-of-fit tests, estimate two-parameter or three-parameter Weibull distributions, and plot confidence limits. This standard provides a method for using Weibull probability plots to interpret the sample's risk function, failure modes, defective population samples, and first failure time or minimum duration information.
