Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for steel wire or fabric reinforced hydraulic rubber hoses and hose assemblies of 10 types, 4 grades, and 7 models with a nominal inner diameter of 5 to 102. Each type of all specifications has a single maximum working pressure. The AS, AC, BS, and BC types of hoses are suitable for HH, HL, HM, HR, and HV oil-based hydraulic fluids meeting the requirements of ISO 6743-4, with a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C. The CS, CC, and DC types of hoses are suitable for HH, HL, HM, HR, and HV oil-based hydraulic fluids with a temperature range of -40°C to +120°C.
This standard does not include requirements for fittings, and is limited to the requirements for hoses and their assemblies. The maximum working pressure of hose assemblies is determined by the lowest value of the maximum working pressure of each component.
Note: It is the user's responsibility to consult with the hose manufacturer to determine the compatibility of the hose with the fluid being used.
