Scope

This standard specifies the classification and designations, order details, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates of stainless steel and heat-resistant steel plates and strips used in pressure equipment. This standard applies to hot-rolled stainless steel and heat-resistant steel plates and strips (including rolled and cut plates) and cold-rolled stainless steel and heat-resistant steel plates and strips (including rolled and cut plates) with a width of not less than 600 mm, which are used in pressure equipment.
