Scope

This standard specifies the classification and designations, dimensions, shapes, and allowable deviations of stainless steel plates and strips for pressure equipment, as well as technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and product quality certificates.
This standard applies to hot-rolled and cold-rolled stainless steel plates and strips (including coil-cut plates) for pressure equipment with a width of not less than 600 mm.
