GB/T 39545.3-2020 Design and selection of components for enclosed gear drives—Part 3:Shaft-to-hub juncture with keyless fits
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 39545 specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, calculation basis, and design considerations for keyless mating connections (hereinafter referred to as interference fit connections) between shafts and hubs of closed gear drive devices; the design and verification of interference fit connections; the general requirements for vertical interference fit connections; the configuration of hubs for hydraulic installation or removal; hydraulic installation and removal equipment; and the inspection, installation, and removal of hubs with conical holes and cylindrical holes.
This part applies to interference fit connections between shafts and hubs of closed gear drive devices made of metal materials, such as straight gears, bevel gears, herringbone gears, bevel gears, and worm gears, when they use conical holes and cylindrical holes. It does not apply to connections with keyways, splines, non-integral hubs, or polygonal hole hubs on the shaft.
