Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of corrosion protection technology for prestressed steel-cylindrical concrete pipes (hereinafter referred to as PCCP), the material classification, requirements, and test methods of corrosion protection coatings, coating construction, quality control and acceptance, management and maintenance, and safety, hygiene, and environmental protection.
This standard applies to the surface corrosion protection coating projects of newly built PCCPs. The surface corrosion protection coating projects of prestressed concrete pipes and the corrosion protection maintenance of PCCPs can also be used for reference.
