Scope

This part of GB/T 39748 specifies the method for determining the mass fraction of carboxylic acid groups of different chain lengths that can be extracted from salt water by polyacrylate (PA) super-absorbent powder.
This testing method is used for the mass fraction of extractable polymers ranging from 5.29% to 9.00% (see Appendix A), but it is expected to be applicable to a wider range.
