Scope

This part of GB/T 39748 specifies the determination method for the inhalable particle content of polyacrylate (PA) superabsorbent resin powders.
Note: The average diameter of commercial polyacrylate superabsorbent resin powders is 400 μm to 800 μm, which is much larger than the inhalable particle content of approximately 10 μm. In the production process, only a small amount of inhalable particles may occur in commercial superabsorbent resin powders.
