Scope

This standard specifies the marking methods for single-core, multi-core, and coaxial wires and cables used in aircraft wiring, indicating the type, specifications, source, production date, etc. of the wires and cables, so as to facilitate the maintenance and fault analysis of the wires and cables, and also to facilitate the replacement with equivalent wires and cables when necessary.
