Scope

This document specifies the various conditions that should be considered when verifying the stability of mobile cranes through calculations, assuming that the cranes operate on a solid, level support surface (with a slope of no more than 1%).
This document applies to mobile cranes defined in ISO 43062 (excluding vehicle-mounted cranes, hereinafter referred to as "cranes"), namely: cranes installed on wheels (tires) or tracks, with or without outriggers.
