Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, structure, classification and marking, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of aluminum-plastic composite pressure pipes (lap welded).
This standard applies to aluminum-plastic composite pressure pipes for pressurized fluids (cold and hot water, natural gas, compressed air, and special fluids, etc.). It does not apply to aluminum pipes that have not been welded or to plastic-aluminum composite pipes without an adhesive layer, as well as butt-welded aluminum-plastic composite pressure pipes.
