Scope

This standard specifies the use of a rapid Kessler paper sheet forming machine to prepare laboratory paper sheets for physical testing, in order to evaluate the relevant properties of pulp. This standard applies to most types of pulp, but not to certain pulps with long fibers, such as uncut cotton fibers, flax, and similar raw materials. This standard is not applicable to the preparation of laboratory paper sheets used to determine the blue light diffuse reflection factor according to GB/T 8940.2.
