Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for self-adhesive food packaging films (hereinafter referred to as "films") made of polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC). This standard applies to self-adhesive films made from polyvinylidene chloride-vinyl chloride copolymer resin by blow molding. These films are primarily used for freshness preservation packaging of refrigerated and frozen foods, as well as for covering microwave-heated foods.
