Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) film casings used for food packaging. This standard applies to polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) film casings used for food packaging, which are made by blow molding from polyvinylidene chloride resin and cut into strips (hereinafter referred to as "film casings"), and are used for filling sausage products.
