Scope

This part of GB/T 31301 specifies the safety requirements for the design and structure of heel-stitching machines. This part includes all major hazards, dangerous states, and dangerous events related to heel-stitching machines that may arise from the operator's intended use of the machine and foreseeable misuse (see Appendix A).
This part applies to semi-automatic and fully automatic heel-stitching machines used in the footwear industry.
